Khadija Ahmaddiya
Founding Director of DoodleOntheStars, Khadija’s work spans dance performance, poetry, and film production, steeped in collaborative exploration. She holds a B.F.A in Modern Dance Performance from the University of the Arts, and is a two-time recipient of New Music USA’s Project Grant (2015, 2020). In recent years, her choreographic and film work has been commissioned and presented by Jersey City Theater Center, Nimbus Dance Works, SMUSH Gallery, JCAST Showcase, and Gibney Dance Center. With empowerment at the center of her work, Khadija builds educational programs, events, and creative spaces. She has taught nationally and internationally, leading choreographic residencies and producing evening-length works. She is an avid traveler, sourcing inspiration for her work through a global lens.
